Learn how to identify and counter disinformation and anti-democratic narratives in the Workshop “Fighting disinformation in Central Europe: showing StopFake’s best practices” on November 6 in Skopje.
The workshop will take place in the Public Room event space (50 Divizija br. 22) from 12:00 to 16:00 hrs. The training will be held in English.
The training is part of the the International Conference e-Society.mk which starts the previous day, in synergy with the Western Balakns Anti-Disinformation Hub project. It is based on sharing experiences of StopFake, Metamorphosis Foundation, Global Voices and partners from the Western Balkans region.
StopFake is 10 years old this year. To celebrate, the famous Ukraine-based team of fact-checkers has teamed up with Google News Initiative to go on tour and share skills and tips to educate the current and next generation of journalists, fact-checkers and teachers.
Priority will be given to working journalists, lecturers, teachers and students, but we should still have places for other curious minds.
