Putin with Two Disinfo Narratives from Vladivostok – The New Weaponry and the USA are the Villains, Not Russia

Talking about new weaponry, international relations cases and mistakes made by Moscow – although those made by the USA were bigger – as well as about the Donald Trump case, the Russian President sent a variation of one and the same topic of two Russian disinformation narratives used for quite some time now, especially after Russia’s aggression in Ukraine in February last year those being: – we have/are working on new terrible weaponry that no one in the world possesses; and USA is the villain in international relations, while Russia is only defending its interests

The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, during the meeting with the moderators of the key sessions at the 8th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) that took place in Vladivostok, stated that Russia was developing new weaponry based on new physical principles enabling effective security to any country.

If you look at the security sphere, the weaponry with new physical principles will ensure the security of any country in the near historical perspective. We understand this very well and we are working on it, said Putin, while the portals in the Macedonian language republished the information, quoting Reuters.

Developing weapons based on new physical principles involves the use of new technologies and action principles. Such weaponry includes laser, ultrasound, radio frequency weapons, etc., News agency TASS reported.

Putin: It is not OK to harm the interests of other nations

In the same conversation, Putin said that sending tanks to Hungary and Czechoslovakia during the Cold War was Moscow’s mistake, but no information indicates some kind of analogy with the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

That was a mistake, said Putin when asked if Russia could be considered a colonial power for sending tanks to Budapest in 1956 and to Prague in 1968.

It is wrong to do anything in a foreign policy that harms the interests of other nations, Putin added, more than 18 months once the invasion of Ukraine began and grew into the biggest war in Europe since World War II.

Putin says the US is making the same mistake as the Soviet Union…
Washington has no friends, only interests, he said during the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

Putin also said that the former US President Donald Trump, was a victim of political prosecution due to his 2024 candidacy for the US Presidential Elections against the current head of state Joseph Biden.

This is a politically motivated prosecution by his rival, said Putin.

The Russian President assessed that such a situation pointed to the “perversion of the American system”.

No information was provided on whether any analogy was made with the prosecution of the political opponents in Russia, their trials and long prison sentences.

With these three statements, Putin practically transmitted two Russian disinfo narratives used especially after Russia’s aggression in Ukraine last year those being: – we have/are working on new terrible weaponry that no one in the world possesses; and USA is the villain in international relations, while Russia is only defending its interests.
