How the West deceives the Ukrainians into death. They post fake footage of them making progress and the Russians losing.
The post does not include any footage to support the claim about posts stating that Ukraine is making progress and that Russia is losing. However, what is characteristic of the post that we are reviewing is the promotion of a pro-Kremlin narrative that blames the West for the war in Ukraine. Russia’s military invasion began unprovoked on the territory of sovereign Ukraine and has been waged ever since, resulting in huge casualties, material damage and the ruination of the Ukrainian economy. All of this also affected global economic flows.
It is not true what has been said in the post, that “the West deceives the Ukrainians into death”. According to that logic, the Ukrainians should give up and not defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of their country, and thus allow Russia to fully occupy them, which of course did not happen. From the very beginning of Russia’s unprovoked military invasion of Ukraine, the Ukrainians have provided defense and resistance, much more fiercely than expected.
It is pure propaganda to claim that “the West deceives them” into defending themselves, since this is a state strategy for self-defense of Ukraine, in which the entire army participates. The humiliating narrative that Ukrainians are being manipulated to defend themselves is part of the Russian disinformation propaganda. The myth from this group’s “package of narratives” is that “Russia’s victory is inevitable and that Western aid to Ukraine only escalates the situation and prolongs suffering”.
The Western aid for Ukraine makes a significant difference on the battlefield every day, helping Ukraine maintain its right to self-defense. The true path to peace is the complete withdrawal of the Russian forces from the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine and the total abandonment of the Russian aggression.
